TTI Air Curtain

Continually opening and closing a conventional door releases vast amounts of cool air or heat to the outdoors. Using TTI Air Curtains saves energy costs and eliminates the need for supplemental heaters at the entranceway. Having the ability to leave your door open makes the entrance to your establishment much more inviting.

An air curtain is a stream of high-velocity conditioned air that flows across a door opening. This air current creates an invisible barrier between the indoor and outdoor environment. It will seal out cold and seal in heat or air conditioning, repel insects and keep out smoke.

Using a patented rectifier and constant air velocity (CA) technology ensures that conditioned air is supplied at the optimum velocity, volume and temperature to meet the comfort requirements of customers and employees whatever the weather.

Other features include a carefully controlled combination of discharge air volume, air temperature and air velocity available in six strengths which can be selected manually via a touchpad or a building management system. Timer clocks, door contact switches or room thermostats can also be integrated into the control strategy to ensure not just optimum comfort but optimum energy efficiency.

The flexibility in control means that whatever the conditions and whatever your control requirements, the Air Curtain will conserve energy by intelligently using as little power as necessary.
